Welcome to Mosaic Rising—where creativity intertwines with motivation, and everyday people become leaders in their communities.
The project was started by Corey Barksdale, a visual artist based in Atlanta, Georgia, and President of the Gwinnett Harbingers Toastmasters Club. Alongside his own work, it highlights the voices and stories of motivational, creative, civic and business figures throughout Atlanta and beyond.
What we do
- Celebrate local heroes. Profiles of the mentors, artists, advocates and volunteers who make our community stronger—many of them fellow Toastmasters.
- Teach practical leadership. Free lessons on speaking with confidence, leading without a title, building community and growing every day.
- Make practice fun. Games that sharpen impromptu speaking, vocabulary and decision-making.
- Share daily positivity. A constantly refreshed feed of uplifting reads from trusted sources like Tiny Buddha and Greater Good Magazine.
